Monkey had a blow out.

After some very technical surgery with scissors, we had to remove his leg. Monkey is three legged and doing well now.

Franco is very happy to have monkey back.

I tried to get a picture of him sleeping with the ear in his mouth but he caught me.

Tahquamenon Falls July 4, 2009

Part of our trip to the U.P. of Michigan on July 4th. We had such a nice relaxing day. Took our time, no rush, soaking in the views. No moose sitings though, but we did get up there later in the day. NEXT time I won't sleep through my mooseing plans.

Where Oh Where Has My Birdhouse Gone?

The previous day was very windy and when I went out the next morning my birdhouse was missing.

I found it in the neighbors garden.

Campfire No. 2

Franco had his own special smore. NO CHOCOLATE FOR MY BOY!

Rodney only likes the chocolate part of the smore.

I like all the parts of the smore. Oh Yah!

Our fire dying down. The mosquitoes were getting the best of us. Went in about 10pm.

We had a camp fire on Saturday night and made smores. I miss camping. We need to start again.

Grandchild No. 2

Baby is resting now. How cute is that?

Looks like Jenni's nose. His fists are like the Lion in OZ (put em up, put em up)

This ultrasound was taken on Wednesday July 15, 2009. This is Nick and Jenni's son (mystery first name) Richard Collins. Our second grandchild.

Gordon

Gordon with his wife Nina on their 50th wedding anniversary.

My cousin Gordon from Michigan passed away Saturday July 11, 2009. My brother butch and him were very close. He is with Butchie now. Rest peacefully Gordon. I love you!

Campfire No. 1

Looks like Franco was close to the fire but he was not. He was on my lap on the swing.

We had a good fire going. It was a beautiful night.

Rodney was overnight at a church outing so Franco and I had a campfire in the back yard.

Church signs

This is a church I pass going and coming home from work. I think some of the postings are funny. Here are a couple.
